At 20, Viv was a promising young singer. At 30, her failing music career forced her back into her mother’s basement. A self-proclaimed atheist, Viv reluctantly lands a job as a substitute Cantor at her family’s synagogue. She’s thrown into a wild ride of illicit affairs, drug trips, tense family drama, and becomes an overnight TikTok success. As her sister’s Bat Mitzvah looms, Viv’s newfound fame as a cantor soars, compelling her to confront her identity in a community she once shunned.
