In 1976, Aulcie Perry was playing basketball in Harlem when scouts from Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv spotted and signed him. A year later, he led the team to their first European Championship, converted to Judaism, and become an Israeli citizen.

Aulcie’s relationship with supermodel Tami Ben Ami was dubbed the Brangelina of the time, solidifying his status as one of Israel’s biggest stars. However, behind the scenes, Aulcie had a growing drug addiction and was struggling with turbulent life events including mending relationships with his children. What happened to him was unbelievable.
